Sports Bar

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Now complete. We have a large 6m sports bar. Huge 75 inch TV screen. The zone is above courts 4 and 5 and looks amazing. The bar will raise funds to put back into Squash development and necessary building works to help improve participation. Buy a drink and support the game!

Beer Garden

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Now complete. A Balinese feel with palm trees, tropical plants, a Bali hut as well. Festoon lighting sets the mood at night, this is a great spot for a post match drink

FOBs Keyless Entry & Security

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Complete. All members get their own access FOBS to enter the centre anytime, on your own whether we are open or closed. 7 Security cameras, and keyless entry FOBs so members can come and play almost anytime they choose. This is a game changer as members won’t have to wait until the squash courts are open and can now play whenever it suits them, as many times a week as it suits them all for a low price. Win Win Win!

Gym

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Complete Finally complete. Court 7 has been transformed into a commercial grade gym with state of the art equipment. Cardio, pin loaded weights, cables and some free weights. We are always looking for feedback on what type of gym equipment you’d love to see in there. And if there’s a less popular machine, let us know too. We value member feedback. This gym adds huge value for members who want to go the extra mile and get fit and strong.

Sauna

ALMOST DONE!!! Yes, there is a Sauna here, but it hasn’t been used in 20 years. We have reinstated the western red cedar benches, the Western red cedar walls are still there and it has that beautiful sauna smell. And Infrared heating is being priced up now. We are very excited about this.

Day Spa

This will be in conjunction with the Sauna, demolition has begun, we just need new lighting, tiling, ceiling, shower. We are looking into both a plunge pool and a spa to go with the Sauna. We may only be able to do one as a viable option. There will be its own new toilet, and huge double shower. This will be completely new and absolute luxury. Hurry and get your membership now, because new members will pay a new higher price once this is complete.

Flooring

There might be a surprise hiding under the chipboard floors. In fact, since writing this, we have taken chipboard off courts 1, 2 and 3 and now have beautiful Tassie Oak timber floorboards… Court 4 is next!

Front Walls

COMPLETED, BUT ONGOING: Court 1 especially has some uneven surfaces from years of patching. UPDATE: These have been patched and fixed, but court 1 especially is problematic and needs redoing every couple of years

Reception Area

We are in talks with a flat-pack kitchen company about a new and slightly smaller reception area. this will open up the foyer, creating a bit more space, and make for a more minimalist reception area

LED Lighting

COMPLETED: Courts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ALL now have LED Lighting. The courts are SO much brighter.

How can you help?

The more members we get, the more we can put back into this great facility. In the pipeline we have quite a few works either quoted for, scheduled in, or underway.

If you are a regular hitter, the best thing you can do for the club is to take out a membership. You’ll get better value personally, but your dollars are helping fund improvements.
